Rakan Almunajem

Rakan Almunajem joined Financial Content Company as Assistant Vice President after more than eight years of experience in financial accounting advisory and transaction advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Ernst & Young (EY). During his tenure, he led high-performing teams and successfully delivered numerous advisory engagements related to initial public offerings (IPOs) and mergers and acquisitions, specifically in financial due diligence, IPO readiness assessments, and the oversight of complex accounting and financial restructuring projects.

Rakan has developed extensive experience in leading and executing strategic transactions across a wide range of key sectors, including media, human resources, healthcare, food and beverage, real estate development, and consumer goods, among others. His core expertise includes leading IPO readiness programs and roadmap development, as well as effective coordination with investors and stakeholders to achieve corporate objectives. He has also overseen detailed financial due diligence processes for transactions valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Rakan is recognized for his strong leadership capabilities, professional excellence, and effective communication skills, demonstrated through his ability to lead teams successfully, enhance cross-functional collaboration within organizations, and manage client relationships with a high level of professionalism.

Rakan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Middlesex University in London, United Kingdom. He has also successfully passed the General Securities Qualification Examination (CME-1), a requirement of the Capital Market Authority (CMA). In addition, Rakan has completed several advanced professional programs and courses, including Investment Banking and Corporate Finance in Verbier, Switzerland, Accounting for Non-Accounting Managers, and the Financial and Valuation Modeling program delivered by Wall Street Prep in the United Kingdom.
